Gas Compliance Requirements

Why is Gas Compliance important?

The main reason is that it serves to protect homeowners and businesses from potentially dangerous work from unlicensed individuals.

It protects your manufacturers warranty and also your home insurance warranty, as both of these become void if gas work is carried out by an unlicensed individual.

Compliance requirements:

• Any gas installation or alteration must be performed by a licensed Gas Fitter.
• A certificate of compliance must be issued to the owner/Gas supplier/ and Regulatory Authority after the job is completed. Only use appliances displaying an AGA approved sticker.
